We were very impressed with Alex and Liam, they are a professional outfit. For our excavation job they were on time, communicated well, and when asked, went out of their way to provide useful recommendations and advice on many parts of the job. They are a friendly team and are easy to work with, no dramas and keen for a happy customer (they also completed the job earlier than expected). They cleaned the dirt off the road when they finished the job. We highly recommend this team for any excavation job, very impressed.

Not only did he deliver an impeccable retaining wall but he also left my property cleaner than it was before.His attention to detail and commitment to quality is truly impressive.The building permit for the retaining wall took over two years to obtain, and once we finally received it Alex and his team were booked in immediately even though they had been waiting for months. Their patience and readiness to get the job done as soon as the permit came through were greatly appreciated and I’m so relieved to finally have it completed.In addition to the retaining wall there was no fence on the boundary so Hammer Excavations installed a new boundary fence while patiently accommodating all of our neighbour’s demands. Despite the challenges Alex’s dedication to getting the job done right never wavered.Since my property operates as a short-term rental for guests, I even offered accommodation to Alex and his team allowing them to stay on-site and avoid traveling back and forth between Melbourne and Rye.
